Hey guys!
Today I have some nail art that is very special to me to share with you!
I am running to be a member of the Central Denmark Regional Counsil and this manicure is inspired by the political party I represent.
For the manicure I started off with a deep blue base of Essie Style Cartel on my pointer, middle finger, and thumb. Afterwards I painted one-third of my pinky and ring finger with the white Essence Wild White Ways. Lastly I added the decal shaped as a V that I made by cutting it out of a dry piece of the orange nail polish China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy.
I will be insanely busy the next couple of weeks due to my election campaign, which is why I won't be posting as much.
What do you guys think about this political manicure? Let me know in the comments.
Stay polished.

Negative Space
Hey guys!
Today I have some simple negative space nail art featuring two of my absolute favorite polishes!
For the manicure I started off with a red base of Essie Really Red on all my nails - on my ring finger and pinky I only painted part of the nail and cleaned up the edges of the negative space nail art with a clean-up brush dipped in acetone. Afterwards I applied Essie Shine of the Times on my pinky and ring finger.
Close up!
I am in LOVE with this nail art!

Essie As If!
Hey guys!
Today I have swatch and review of Essie As If! to share with you!
As If! is a dusty periwinkle blue with purple undertones.
The formula is amazing - it is smooth and easy to apply. It needed two thin layers to be opaque, but it is nearly a one-coater if you apply it a little thicker.
This shade is so beautiful and amazing for fall!

BOW Thermo Top Coat Black
Hey guys!
Today I have a swatch and review of BOW Thermo Top Coat Black to share with you!
Thermo Top Coat Black is a thermal polish that ranges from a sheer light grey to black with tiny holographic flakes.
The formula is good. I applied it over the nude polish Cirque Colors Dakota stamped with the black polish Essie Licorice and the MoYou London Holy Shapes 03 stamping plate on my middle and ring finger. It applied beautifully with one easy coat, but unfortunately it did make streaks in my stamping nail art.
The thermal shift is stunning and it shifts quickly in different temperatures.
Above the polish is in its hot state and below it is in its cold state.
It really is a shame that it smeared my nail art, because I think the disappearing nail art effect is awesome!

For the manicure I started off with a taupe nude base of Essie Go Go Geisha on all my nails. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush and Dance Legend Silver Leaf top coat to create the glitter gradient.
Close up!

Fall
Hey guys!
Today I have some fall stamping nail art to share with you!
For the manicure I started off with an off-white base of Barry M Coconut on all my nails. Afterwards I used the Born Pretty BPL-024 stamping plate and a lot of different polishes (the mustard yellow Barry M Mustard, the burnt orange OPI It's a Piazza Cake, the green Essie Going Incognito, and the red Essie Dress to Kilt).
Close up!
It was mostly the yellow and the orange polish that showed up on the stamp, but I still really like how it turned out anyways!

Then and Now
Hey guys!
Today I have some more Then and Now nail art to share with you!
I recreated this mix and match leopard and striped manicure from April of 2014.
For the leopard nails I started off with a taupe nude base of piCture pOlish Nougat on my middle finger, ring finger, and thumb. Afterwards I followed my own tutorial using the brown OPI Going My Way or Nor-Way?, the black Essie Licorice, and a dotting tool to create the leopard print.
For the striped nails I started off with a white base of Essence Wild White Ways on my pointer and pinky. Afterwards I used some thick striping tape and Essie Licorice to create the stripes.
Close up!
And here is a comparison of Then and Now!
I am so happy with my development these last three years! I think the 'Now' manicure is much better than the 'Then' manicure.

This nail art is actually a recreation of this mani I did last year.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of Essence Wild White Ways on my ring finger and pinky, and a red base of Essie Really Red on my middle finger, pointer, and thumb. For the marble nails I followed this tutorial by The Nailasaurus using Essence Wild White Ways, the grey polish OPI Embrace the Gray, and the black polish Essie Licorice. To finish everything off I added a thick piece of silver striping tape to my ring finger.
Close up!
I love this marble technique - I have to try it out with some other colors soon!

More Then and Now
Hey guys!
Today I have some more Then and Now nail art to share with you!
I recreated this mix and match glitter and striping tape manicure from 2014.
For the manicure I started off with a dusty purple base of Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck on all my nails. Stamping Gradient
Hey guys!
Today I tried a new nail art technique - a stamped gradient!
For the manicure I started off with a blue base of Essence Itsy Bitsy Blue Bikini on all my nails. Afterwards I created the stamped gradient with the MoYou London Fashionista 05 stamping plate by filling half the stamping design with Essence Itsy Bitsy Blue Bikini and the other half with the cobalt blue shade Essie Butler Please. When scraping the polishes off the stamping plate they blend together and create the gradient design.
Close up!
This nail art technique is awesome - I am definitely trying it again!
