Hello ladies!
Today it is time for another Fancy Friday manicure!
The challenge this week is multicolored stamping. I did not know whether to make double stamping (two layers of stamping in two different colors) or gradient stamping (one layer of stamping with two different colors blend together). I went with the last one and I am really happy with the result!
For the manicure I started off with a light blue base of Deborah Lippmann Blue Orchid on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the gradient chevrons on my middle and ring finger with MoYou London Fashionista Plate Collection 05, Mundo de Uñas Green, and Mundo de Uñas Turquoise. To finish off the skittlette I applied the silver glitter China Glaze Fairy Dust on my pinky.
I love how this turned out and it is definitly not the last time I will make multicolored stamping!
What do you guys think about this manicure? Let me know in the comments!
Stay polished.

Fancy Friday: Text
Hey guys!
Today it is time for another Fancy Friday challenge.
This week the challenge is text and I decided to make a chalkboard with different kinds of text and doodles.
I also thought about doing newspaper nail art, but I did once before.
For the manicure I started off with a dark green base of Essie Going Incognito. Afterwards I freehanded the text and doodles with white acrylic paint and a small nail art brush. I finished with a matte top coat of Essie Matte About You.
While I write this blog post I realized I should have interpreted this challenge as text(ure) instead!
What do you guys think about this nail art? Let me know in the comments!

Camouflage
Hey guys!
Today I made some simple nail art featuring both camouflage and neon. Opposites attract as they say!
For the manicure I started off with a dusty green base of Essie Fall in Line on all of my nails except for my pinky which I painted pink with Essie Bottle Service. For the camouflage pattern on my middle and ring finger I used a medium sized dotting tool and the following polishes: Essie Going Incognito, Essie Chinchilly and Essie Absolutely Shore. To finish off the skittlette I applied pink, square studs from Born Pretty Store (#12408 in the color #2) to my middle and ring finger.
For some reason my camera could not capture the true color of the pinky even though it was almost identical in color to the studs - so annoying.
I really like how weird and fun this manicure is!

For the manicure I started off with a green base of piCture polish Chillax on my pointer and thumb, a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my middle and ring finger, and a silver base of By K. Moon Dust on my pinky. For the nail art on my middle and ring finger I applied random drops of piCture polish Chillax, piCture polish Instinct, and By K. A tutorial of this will be up later!

Fancy Friday: One Color, Three Shades
Hello ladies!
Today it's time for another Fancy Friday challenge.
The challenge this week is one color, three shades, so I made a simple green gradient.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow. Afterwards I made the gradient effect with a make-up sponge and the following green shades (from darkest to lightest): Essie Going Incognito, Essie Pretty Edgy and OPI You're So Outta Lime.
I'm not sure I like how this turned out.
What do you guys think about this gradient? Let me know in the comments!

piCture pOlish Kryptonite
Hi girls!
Today I have a swatch and review of piCture pOlish Kryptonite to share with you guys!
Kryptonite is a dark green crelly with a scattered holographic shimmer.
The formula was really nice - it went on easily and smooth, and it was opaque in just two thin coats.
I really love the depth of this polish!

Chevron Skittlette
Hello ladies!
Today I made some nail art that I would like to show you guys - a chevron skittlette manicure.
For those of you who do not know what a skittlette manicure is, you can read about how Marta from Chit Chat Nails explains it here.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of Essie Blanc on my ring and middle finger, a teal green base of Essie Ruffles & Feathers on my pointer and thumb and a silver texture base of OPI It's Frosty Outside on my pinky. To make the chevron nail art on my middle and ring finger I used Chevron Nail Vinyls from Glam My Mani and the black nail polish Essie Licorice.
I really like the nail vinyls I got from Glam My Mani!

Essie Fall in Line
Hey guys!
As promised I have a swatch and review of Essie Fall in Line from the new Essie Dress to Kilt Fall 2014 Collection to show you today!
Fall in Line is a dusty green creme.
The formula was great - a little on the thick side, but that's the way I prefer polishes to be. The opacity was good as well - two coats and you are good to go!
I am really loving the Essie Dress to Kilt Fall 2014 Collection!

Essie The Perfect Cover Up
Hey guys!
Today I have a swatch and review of another nail polish from the new Essie Dress to Kilt Fall 2014 Collection to share with you - Essie The Perfect Cover Up!
The Perfect Cover Up is a deep teal creme.
The formula was nothing less than perfect! It was not too thick and not too thin, but it was smooth, buttery and really easy to apply. The opacity was just as perfect and it was completely opaque with just one coat!
I think this colour is perfect for fall and it actually matches my Hunter rain boots perfectly!

Fabulous Fruits: Watermelon
Hi girls!
Today I have some more nail art for the fruit theme Fabulous Fruits to show you guys.
The nail art I did today is a watermelon skittlette manicure!
If you do not know what a skittlette manicure is, you can read about how Marta from Chit Chat Nails explains it here.
For the manicure I used the beautiful watermelon pink polish Estée Lauder Tumultuous Pink on my thumb and ring finger and the green Essie Pretty Edgy with the blue and green glitter Oh My Gosh Ocean Club on my pinky. On my middle and index finger I used some striping tape to make watermelon pink triangles with Estée Lauder Tumultuous Pink. Afterwards I freehanded on the details of the watermelon with Essie Pretty Edgy (green), Etude House GR701 (light green), Essie Blanc (white) and Essie Licorice (black).
The summer is almost over, but I am not done with my fruit theme just yet!

Fancy Friday: Untried
Hello ladies!
Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to show you guys!
This time the challenge is untried, which can mean both an untried technique or untried nail polishes. I decided to try an untried technique - negative space - with one of my untried nail polishes (like a boss!).
Down below is a picture of my little drawer of untried nail polishes (those of you following me on Instagram have already seen this). I keep all my untried nail polishes apart from my other nail polishes so I know which ones to try out and use next!
For the manicure I was inspired by this negative space manicure by Alice at One Nail To Rule Them All.
I followed her tutorial using a medium sized dotting tool, By K. Dandelion (yellow), Essie Mint Candy Apple (blue), Etude House OR202 (orange) and my untried L'Oréal Pistachio Drage (off-white green). For the matte effect I used Essie Matte About You!
I do not know if I like this particular negative space manicure, but I will definitely try the technique again sometime.
What do you girls think about this negative space manicure? Let me know in the comments!

Fancy Friday: Glitter
Hello ladies!
Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to show you guys!
This time the Fancy Friday challenge is glitter, so I decided to do some glitter placement.
For the manicure I started off with an off-white sea foam green base of Essie Absolutely Shore. Afterwards I used a small dotting tool to place the gold glitters from Maybelline Undress to Impress in a pattern on the accent nail.
Even though glitter placement is really time consuming, it is almost alway worth the time and effort!
What do you girls think about this glitter placement? Let me know in the comments!

OPI Life Gave Me Lemons
Hey guys!
Today I have another OPI nail polish to swatch and review for you - OPI Life Gave Me Lemons from the new OPI Neon Collection.
Life Gave Me Lemons is neon yellow with green undertones.
The formula was good - it applied like a crelly and it was a little streaky on the first coat, but easily build-able with three thin coats. The opacity was okay - as good as one can expect from a yellow nail polish.
I really like how bright and summer-y with polish is.

Essie Ruffles & Feathers
Hi girls!
Today I have an Essie polish to swatch and review for you guys - Essie Ruffles & Feathers.
Ruffles & Feathers is a beautiful teal green creme polish.
The formula was amazing - it was really nice and easy to apply. The opacity was great as well - really pigmented and a OCW if you are careful. My only problem with this polish is that it is so pigmented that you need two coats of base coat to avoid staining on your nails.
This green is my favorite green ever, and as I wrote yesterday one of my favorite polishes!
What do you girls think about this green? Let me know in the comments!
