Painting

Hey guys!

Today I have some fun negative space nail art to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with a bright magenta base of Cirque Colors Plastik on all my nails except for my ring finger and pinky. Afterwards I freehanded the paint brush on my ring finger using a small nail art brush, the brown polish OPI My Way or Nor-Way, the silver polish Essie No Place Like Chrome, black acrylic paint and Cirque Colors Plastik.

Hey guys!

Today I have another fruit design to share with you - watermelon nails!

Afterwards I freehanded the watermelon details with a small nail art brush, the black polish Essie Licorice, the white polish CND Cream Puff, and the light green polish Essie Mojito Madness.

Leopard

Hey guys!

Today I have some leopard nail art inspired by (aka. straight up copied from) Very Emily.

I started off with striping tape and Barry M Almond on all my nails (except for my ring finger) to create the negative space design. On my ring finger I added the gold glitter polish F.U.N Lacquer Million Dollar Dream. Afterwards I freehanded the leopard design on my pointer finger and pinky with a small nail art brush and black acrylic paint. To finish everything off I added a gold stud from Born Pretty Store to my middle finger.

I love everything Emily does, so of course I had to recreate this mani the moment I saw it!

Negative Space

Hey guys!

Today I have some negative space nail art to share with you featuring the beautiful Essie Loot the Booty from the new Essie Summer 2016 collection!
Loot the Booty is a deep blue with iridescent flakes in purple and aqua blue.

For the manicure I started off by applying single chevron nail vinyls to my naked nails. Afterwards I applied Essie Loot the Booty on top of it and peeled the nail vinyls off to reveal the negative space design underneath.

Close-up!

Essie Loot the Booty is amazing and I love how this manicure turned out!

Negative Space

Hey guys!

Today I have some negative space nail art to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with naked nails (except for base coat of course). Then I placed striping tape and straight vinyls horizontally across my nails and painted them with the white nail polish CND Cream Puff. To finish everything off I applied a matte top coat.

I love minimalistic designs like this one!

Minimalistic

Hey guys!

Today I have a mani swap that I did with @lsdoesnails to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with striping tape across the nail and the white nail polish CND Cream Puff to create the white square and negative space effect. Afterwards I placed striping tape in the form of a triangle and colored it in with watered down black acrylic paint.

I am really loving this minimalistic nail art!

Mani Swap

Hello ladies!

Today I have a mani swap with the sweetest Milena of Nail That Design to show you guys.
She chose this blue ombré by me and I chose this freehand flower crown design by her.

For the manicure I started off with a nude base of Essie Adore-A-Ball on my middle and ring finger and a pale, yellow base of Dior Sunwashed on my other nails. Afterwards I freehanded the flower crowns on my middle and ring finger with acrylic paint and a small nail art brush.

I really loved working on this mani swap with Milena and I love how it turned out!

Fancy Friday: Favorite Color

Hello ladies!

Today the theme in Fancy Friday is favorite color, so I made a blue ombré featuring negative space!

For the manicure I applied Single Chevron Nail Vinyls from Glam My Mani near the cuticle-area on my naked nails. Then I used five different blue polishes to paint one color on each nail. I used the following polishes (from lightest to darkest): Essie Borrowed and Blue, Deborah Lippmann Blue Orchid, Essie Avenue Maintain, Essie Mezmerise, and Essie Style Cartel.

I really like the result!

Fabulous Fruits: Watermelon

Hi girls!

Today I have some more nail art for the fruit theme Fabulous Fruits to show you guys.
The nail art I did today is a watermelon skittlette manicure!
If you do not know what a skittlette manicure is, you can read about how Marta from Chit Chat Nails explains it here.

For the manicure I used the beautiful watermelon pink polish Estée Lauder Tumultuous Pink on my thumb and ring finger and the green Essie Pretty Edgy with the blue and green glitter Oh My Gosh Ocean Club on my pinky. On my middle and index finger I used some striping tape to make watermelon pink triangles with Estée Lauder Tumultuous Pink. Afterwards I freehanded on the details of the watermelon with Essie Pretty Edgy (green), Etude House GR701 (light green), Essie Blanc (white) and Essie Licorice (black).

The summer is almost over, but I am not done with my fruit theme just yet!

Fancy Friday: Untried

Hello ladies!

Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to show you guys!
This time the challenge is untried, which can mean both an untried technique or untried nail polishes. I decided to try an untried technique - negative space - with one of my untried nail polishes (like a boss!).

Down below is a picture of my little drawer of untried nail polishes (those of you following me on Instagram have already seen this). I keep all my untried nail polishes apart from my other nail polishes so I know which ones to try out and use next!

For the manicure I was inspired by this negative space manicure by Alice at One Nail To Rule Them All.
I followed her tutorial using a medium sized dotting tool, By K. Dandelion (yellow), Essie Mint Candy Apple (blue), Etude House OR202 (orange) and my untried L'Oréal Pistachio Drage (off-white green). For the matte effect I used Essie Matte About You!

I do not know if I like this particular negative space manicure, but I will definitely try the technique again sometime.
