Hey guys!
Today I have something special for you - piCture pOlish Blog Fest 2015!
I am in the nail art category, so Jules (very kindly) sent me three shades to make some nail art with. I received Beige, Paris (Reborn) and Demeter and I decided to make some fall-themed nail art.
For the manicure I started off with Beige on all my nails except for my pinky which I painted brown with Demeter. Afterwards I freehanded the acorns and leafs on my middle and ring finger with a little nail art brush, Paris (Reborn), and Demeter.
I want to thank Jules for this awesome opportunity and I hope you guys like this fall-themed nail art!
What do you guys think about this manicure? Let me know in the comments!
Stay polished.

Another Thermal
Hi girls!
Today I have a swatch and review of the thermal nail polish Born Pretty #18931 in the color 100 to show you guys!
100 is a medium orange when it is hot and a lemon yellow when it is cold.
The formula was great. It was easy to work with and applied smoothly to the nail. The opacity was okay and it was opaque in three thin coats.
The color shift is amazing and on the picture below you can see both its hot and cold state.
This nail polish is from Born Pretty Store and it costs $3.55 for 6 ml.
If you guys plan on buying something in Born Pretty Store, remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 for 10% off your entire order and free international shipping! Check out their nail art items here.

Lead Light
Hello ladies!
Today I made a manicure using the lead light technique with three of the OPI Color Paints inspired by Anna Gorelova.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of piCture pOlish Bright White on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the leaf design with MoYou London Tropical Plate 06 and Mundo de Uñas Black. Then I used a small nail art brush and the following OPI Color Paints to fill in the stamping: Purple Perspective, Pen & Pink, and Chromatic Orange.
Ever since I saw the original manicure by Anna I knew I had to recreate it - and I just love how it turned out!

Hello ladies!
Today it is time for Fancy Friday!
This month I chose the challenges and today the challenge is rainbow - I made a rainbow manicure using the side-way gradient technique.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on all my nails. Then I made the side-way gradients using a make-up sponge and the following polishes: Sally Hansen Pucker Up (red), L'Oréal Lush Tangeringe (orange), Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow (self-explanatory), Essie Mojito Madness (green), Essie I'm Addicted (blue) and OPI Funky Dunkey (purple). I finished everything off with a layer of China Glaze Fairy Dust.
I love how festive and fun this manicure turned out!

Fancy Friday: Paradise
Hello ladies!
Today I have a Fancy Friday manicure to share with you guys!
The challenge this week is paradise and I made this sunset skittlette inspired by Nailstorming, as I image paradise as me lying on a beach while the sun is going down with the people I love around me.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on all my nails followed by a sunset-inspired gradient of L'Oréal Exotic Canaries, Essie Van D'Go and Essie Peach Side Babe. Afterwards I freehanded the palm trees on my middle and ring finger with a small nail art brush and black acrylic paint. To finish off the skittlette I applied China Glaze Fairy Dust to my pinky.
I really love how this manicure turned out!

To the left, to the left
Hello ladies!
Today I made some nail art that is very special to me.
I am politically active, so I made a manicure inspired by my political party "Venstre" (which is Denmark's liberal party).
For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my pinky and ring finger, and a dark blue base of Essie Style Cartel on the rest of my nails. On my ring finger I painted the V of Venstres logo with a small nail art brush and the neon orange China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy.
I really like how this turned out!

Funky Dots
Hey guys!
Today I have some simple nail art to show you - a funky dotticure featuring bow studs.
For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on my ring finger and pinky and a orange/coral base of Essie Peach Side Babe on my middle finger, pointer and thumb. Afterwards I made the dots on my ring finger and pinky with white acrylic paint and a dotting tool. To finish off the skittlette I applied a bow stud to my middle finger.
The bow stud I used for this manicure is from Born Pretty Store. It comes in a pack (#6415 in the pattern #12) of ten black bow studs with white dots.
I really like these bow studs as they are so cute, easy to use and because they are cheap (only $2.55 for the pack of ten!).
Remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 if you want to buy something at Born Pretty Store and get 10% off your entire order and free international shipping. Check out their nail art items here.

Today I have some nail art to show you - an ikat design!
For the manicure I started off with a blue base of Deborah Lippmann Blue Orchid on all my nails. Afterwards I used a small nail art brush and the white OPI Alpine Snow to freehand diamond shapes around my nails. Then I did the same inside the white squares with the orange Essie Peach Side Babe. To finish off the ikat design I used black acrylic paint to outline the white and orange squares with 'fuzzy' lines.
I have been wanting to make an ikat design in forever and I love how it turned out!

Princess
Hi girls!
I always call myself Queen Louise as a joke, but today I have some simple princess nail art to show you guys!
For the manicure I started off with the beautiful piCture pOlish Paris on all my nails. Afterwards I applied the bow charm in the still wet top coat on my ring finger.
Paris is a coral/pink scattered holo. The formula was beyond amazing - I have never applied a polish that easily! The opacity was great as well, being completely opaque in just two easy coats!
The bow charm I used for this nail art is from Born Pretty Store. It comes in a pack of two (#17695 in the model #711), but they are reusable if you clean them with nail polish remover or acetone after use. They also come in other models in different shapes (bows, crowns, and flowers) and sizes.
I like these charms as they are an easy way to make any manicure a little more exciting and festive, they are easy to use, and they are really pretty and cute!
If you want to buy something in Born Pretty Store remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 for 10% off the entire order and free international shipping. Check out their nail art products here.
I love how girly and cute this manicure is!

Fancy Friday: Around the World
Hello ladies!
Today I have some Fancy Friday nail art to show you guys!
This time the challenge is Around the World. When I first saw what the challenge was this week, I thought about making a manicure with flags from all the places I have visited around the world, but I already did that once. That is why I allowed myself to use my artistic freedom and make a galaxy manicure. If you have to go all around the world, you should go to space, right? Maybe not, but I made a galaxy manicure anyway!
I also wanted to show you guys my first try at making a galaxy manicure a little over a year ago. That is why I decided to make a 'Then and Now', to show you guys how much I have developed this last year!
For the 'Now' manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by cutepolish on YouTube using Essie Blanc (white), Essie In the Cab-Ana (turquoise), Essie Mesmerize (blue), Essie After School Boy Blazer (dark blue), Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi (yellow), Maybelline Coral Craze (orange), Essie No Place Like Chrome (silver) and China Glaze Fairy Dust (silver glitter).
I really have developed a lot this last year and I am really proud of myself!
What do you girls think about the 'Now' manicure? Let me know in the comments!
