Glitter Gradient

Hey guys!

Today I have my entry for the @essienordics competition on Instagram to share with you!
This manicure is really special to me, because it is the exact manicure I wore to my high school prom (as you can see in this ancient blog post).

For the manicure I started off with a royal blue base of Essie Mezmerised on all my nails. Afterwards I applied the silver glitter Essie Set in Stones in a gradient design.

Essie Go Go Geisha

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of the unique Essie Go Go Geisha from the new Essie Fall 2016 collection to share with you!
Go Go Geisha is a pink-leaning dusty nude creme polish.

The formula is perfect! It is a little on the thicker side, but I tend to like it that way. The opacity is great for such a light shade and it is opaque in two easy coats.

I am in love with this unique shade!

ÜNT Ready for Takeoff (Peel Off base coat)

Hey guys!

Today I have a review of ÜNT Ready for Takeoff (Peel Off base coat) to share with you.
Removing glitter polish is an eternal struggle, but this base coat makes the removal so much easier!

I decided to test it with this glitter mani (I used Essie Butler Please and Essie Set in Stones).

Now for the review: the dry time is the only downside to this miracle product - it takes 4 to 5 minutes to dry, but I recommend you wait a few more minutes before applying the polish. Other than that it is an amazing peel off base coat - it is easy to apply and even easier to remove (check out the weirdly satisfying peelies below).

I am so ecstatic over this base coat - it works amazingly!

Nails Inc Spray Can Shoreditch Lane

Hey guys!

Today I have a review of the new Nail Inc Spray Can spray nail polish in the color Shoreditch Lane!
Shoreditch Lane is a metallic silver spray.

The Spray Can works as follows:
1. Apply a base coat and allow to dry
2. Shake the polish and spray onto the nail from a distance of 10-15 cm
3. Apply top coat and allow to dry
4. Wash away excess polish with warm water and soap

As you can see the polish is pretty much all over the place (which actually looks kind of cool)!

Here it is after I washed away the excess polish with warm water and soap.

All in all I am positively surprised! I was really careful when applying the top coat, so the polish around the cuticle area was easy to wash away. The finish is awesome and almost mirror like! I did kind off fail on the middle finger though, but that was because I had to re-apply the polish and the base coat was not completely dry before I applied the spray polish.

Conclusively I will have to say that even though it is really cool to have a nail polish on spray, it is not worth it time-wise - it would be quicker just to apply normal polish. I knew all this going in, but I had to have it as a collectors item!

What do you guys think about the idea of nail polish as a spray? Hit or miss?
