Essie Purse and Buffer

Hello ladies!

Today I bought two new Essie-polishes and received a GWP (Gift With Purchase) consisting of a little Essie purse and an exclusive Essie nail file.

The two polished were Essie Aruba Blue (a royal blue shimmer) and Essie Cocktail Bling (a grey creme with blue undertones).

I love free stuff and I love Essie, so of course I just had to get this set!
What do you girls think about this GWP? Let me know in the comments!

French Manicure

Hi girls!

Today I made a simple french manicure.

I started off by freehanding on the white tips with Essie Blanc (white). Afterwards I added two layers of Essie Mademoiselle (sheer pink) to make the manicure look more natural.

I love how simple and natural this looks - so pretty!

Essie Too Taboo

Hey guys!

Today I have yet another Essie polish to show you guys - Essie Too Taboo, which is the name-sake of the Essie Neon 2014 Collection.
Too Taboo is described as a florescent fushia berry.

The formula was great - it was nice and creamy and it only needed two easy coats to be completely opaque.

Note: Too Taboo is a bit more purple-toned than it is in this picture.

Even though I would not describe this colour as a neon, I love how bright it is! The perfect bright berry shade for summer!

The Classics: Red

Hello ladies!

I know not all of you is hoarding collecting nail polishes to the extent I am. That is why I am starting a new series of blog posts concerning classic nail polish colours that every woman should own, so you girls can have a small but perfect nail polish collection.

Today I am starting off with the one classic colour EVERY woman should own - red!
Red is a timeless shade for your nails and the most versatile nail colour around. It will never go out of style and it is appropriate for anything! Just perfect!

I chose three red nail polishes from my collection in different shades.

L-R: Essie Lollipop, Essie Head Mistress and Essie Bordeaux

Essie Lollipop is a bright candy cane red - a perfect shade for pepping up an outfit!
Essie Head Mistress is a bold and direct medium red - a classic red in all of its meaning.
Essie Bordeaux is a deep wine red - the perfect bordeaux shade.

Which red do you girls like the best? Let me know in the comments!

Snow White

Hey guys!

When we finish high school in Denmark we dress up, drink and party on all of our last school day (before finals). My last school day is just around the corner (this tuesday) and I am going to dress up as Snow White. My costume inspired me to make some simple Snow White nail art today!

For this design I used a small nail art brush to freehand on the stripes and bows with Essie Mesmerize (blue), Essie Lollipop (red), Essie No Place Like Chrome (silver), Essie Licorice (black), OPI Alpine Snow (white) and Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi (yellow).

I really love how this turned out! So simple, but so cute and funny!
