Hey guys!
Today I made a simple skittlette manicure using the saran wrap technique.
For the manicure I started off with a green base of piCture polish Chillax on my pointer and thumb, a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my middle and ring finger, and a silver base of By K. Moon Dust on my pinky. For the nail art on my middle and ring finger I applied random drops of piCture polish Chillax, piCture polish Instinct, and By K. Moon Dust around the nail and smeared it together using a piece of saran wrap.
A tutorial of this will be up later!

Fancy Friday: Striping Tape
Hello ladies!
The challenge for this week's Fancy Friday is striping tape and I decided to make a skittlette manicure (surprise, surprise). On two of the nails I used the striping tape to make a french line and on my accent nail I was inspired by @missbellatracey to cover the whole nail in striping tape.
For the manicure I started off with a red base of Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pop Art on all my nails except for my pinky which I covered completely in rows of gold striping tape. On my middle and ring finger I applied one line of striping tape to make a french line.
I am so happy with the result!

Flakies
Hello ladies!
A few days ago I finally got my hands on a long time lemming of mine: Essie Shine of the Times!
Today I did some nail art featuring said nail polish inspired by @sloteazzy.
For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on all my nails. Afterwards I made the chevrons on my ring and middle finger using Mini Chevron Nail Vinyls from Glam My Mani and Essie Shine of the Times. I mattified the flakie chevrons with Essie Matte About You. To finish of the skittlette I applied a square gold stud from Born Pretty Store (#5003) on my pinky.
I love how this turned out and I love Essie Shine of the Times.

OPI Embrace the Gray
Hey guys!
Today I have a swatch and review of OPI Embrace the Gray from the new 50 Shades of Grey Collection.
Embrace the Gray is a medium/dark grey creme.
The formula was amazing - it applied like butter and it was opaque in two easy coats!
I think this is so elegant and classy.

Matching
Hello ladies!
Today I have something a little different to show you guys - nail art made to match my weekend bag from Friis & Company!
I actually did something like this once before with my shoes from SHOE SHI BAR.
For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on my pinky, middle and ring finger and a taupe/brown base of Essie Chinchilly on my pointer and thumb. For the floral print on my middle and ring finger I applied full nail water decals and I painted on the silver half-moon on my pinky with the silver nail polish Essie No Place Like Chrome.
The water decals I used for this manicure is from Born Pretty Store. They come in one sheet (#15582 in the pattern #DLS-194), so you have to cut it out in smaller pieces that fit your nails before use. You can also get the same pattern with a different back-ground color, but I chose the black one to match my bag.
I like these water decals as there are enough for numerous manicures (considering you only use them as an accent nail or two), they are really pretty and classy, they are easy to apply and you get a lot for your money (they only cost 1.59$!).
If you want to buy something from Born Pretty Store remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 to get 10% off on your entire order and free international shipping. Click here to see their nail art products.
I love how well this manicure matches my bag and how pretty it turned out!

Fancy Friday: One Color, Three Shades
Hello ladies!
Today it's time for another Fancy Friday challenge.
The challenge this week is one color, three shades, so I made a simple green gradient.
For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow. Afterwards I made the gradient effect with a make-up sponge and the following green shades (from darkest to lightest): Essie Going Incognito, Essie Pretty Edgy and OPI You're So Outta Lime.
I'm not sure I like how this turned out.
What do you guys think about this gradient? Let me know in the comments!

piCture pOlish Kryptonite
Hi girls!
Today I have a swatch and review of piCture pOlish Kryptonite to share with you guys!
Kryptonite is a dark green crelly with a scattered holographic shimmer.
The formula was really nice - it went on easily and smooth, and it was opaque in just two thin coats.
I really love the depth of this polish!
