April Nail Art Challenge: Flowers

Hey guys!

Today it is time for another manicure for the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday!
The challenge today is to be inspired by flowers, so I made this abstract floral manicure inspired by cutepolish.

For the manicure I started off with a light blue base of Essie Borrowed and Blue on all my nails. Afterwards I followed cutepolish' own tutorial using the purple piCture pOlish Mad Magenta, the red By K. Oy-Mak, the green Essie Mojito Madness, and gold caviar beads.

I think this manicure is so cute and perfect for spring!

April Nail Art Challenge: Freehand

Hello ladies!

Today it is time for another manicure for the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday!
The challenge today is freehand and I made this cute bobby pin design inspired by lieve91 on Instagram.

For the manicure I started off with a scattered holographic nude/taupe base of piCture pOlish Cherish. Afterwards I freehanded on the bobby pins with black acrylic paint and a small nail art brush.

Even though the details are far from perfect, I love the result!

April Nail Art Challenge: Stamping

Hello ladies!

Today I have another manicure for the April Nail Art Challenge to show you guys!
The challenge today is stamping and I made a skittlette featuring double stamping.

For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my pinky, a purple base of Essie Play Date on my middle and ring finger, and a holographic purple base of piCture pOlish Hussy on my pointer and thumb. Afterwards I used MoYou London Pro Plate Collection 07 to stamp the design on my middle and ring finger with Mundo de Uñas White followed by piCture pOlish Hussy.

I absolutely LOVE how this manicure turned out!

April Nail Art Challenge: Fan Brush

Hi girls!

Today in the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday the challenge is fan brush and I made this simple skittlette.

For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of Essie Blossom Dandy on all my nails. Afterwards I used a fan brush and Essie Garden Variety to make the dry brush effect on my middle and ring finger. To finish off the skittlette I applied China Glaze Fairy Dust to my pinky.

I know this is not a "classical" fan brush manicure, but I made another manicure and it was a major nail fail, so I made this one instead!

April Nail Art Challenge: Gradient

Hey guys!

Today it is time for another manicure for the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday!
The challenge today is gradient and I made a pink reverse gradient.

For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow. Afterwards I made the first gradient using a make-up sponge and the following polishes (from lightest to darkest): Essie Fiji, Essie Lovie Dovie, and Essie Watermelon. When that was completely dry I applied nail art tape to my nails and made another gradient on top of that (the opposite way than the one before).

I do not know if I think this is a nail fail or not.

April Nail Art Challenge: Nimbus

Hey guys!

Today it is time for another manicure for the April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday!
The challenge today is nimbus and I made an easter-themed skittlette (as I wore this manicure for an easter lunch).

For the manicure I started off with a white base of OPI Alpine Snow on my middle finger, ring finger, and pinky, and a yellow base of OPI I Just Can't Cope-Acabana on my pointer and thumb. Afterwards I followed this tutorial by Sammy of The Nailasaurus using the following polishes: OPI I Just Can't Cope-Acabana (yellow), Essie Blossom Dandy (mint), and Essie Mojito Madness (green). To finish off the skittlette I applied China Glaze Fairy Dust to my pinky.

It is the first time I tried making a nimbus manicure, but definitely not the last!

April Nail Art Challenge: Orange

Hello ladies!

Today I have another April Nail Art Challenge with Fancy Friday to show you guys!
The theme today is orange (which I interpreted as the fruit and not the color) and I made this orange half-moon manicure.

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of piCture pOlish Swagger on all my nails. Then I freehanded on the half-moon oranges on my middle and ring finger using white acrylic paint and the two orange polishes Etude House OR202 and L'Oréal Lush Tangerine. Lastly I applied the holographic glitter China Glaze Fairy Dust on my pinky.

I think this is a fun interpretation of today's challenge!
