Thermal

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of the thermal nail polish Born Pretty #18931 in the color 101 to share with you guys!
101 is chartreuse green when it is in its warm state and medium green when it is cold.

The formula was great - not to thick and not to thin, and really easy to apply. The opacity was good and it was opaque in two thin coats. The thermal effect was amazing as well and it shifts easily between the two colors! On the picture it makes a gradient effect as it is warm near the cuticles but cold at the end of the nails.

This nail polish is from Born Pretty Store and it costs $5.07 for 6 ml.
If you guys plan on buying something in Born Pretty Store, remember to use my coupon code SXKQ10 for 10% off your entire order and free international shipping! Check out their nail art items here.

I am loving thermal polishes - they are so cool!

Leopard

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple nail art to show you guys - a leopard manicure with a little something extra!

For the manicure I started off with a nude base of OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around on all my nails. Afterwards I followed my own tutorial using OPI Going My Way or Nor-way?, F.U.N. Lacquer Million Dollar Dream, and black acrylic paint.

Leopard nail art is definitely my all time favorite kind of nail art!

Fancy Friday: Dreams

Hello ladies!

Today I have another Fancy Friday manicure to share with you guys and the challenge this week (as chosen by me) is dreams!

I chose to freehand little piCture pOlish bottles on my nails inspired by Katharina of @cottonconey, because one of my biggest dreams is to make a collaboration shade with piCture pOlish! I have even had a note on my phone with my polish idea for months! If I could make a collaboration shade, I would call it Sunshine and it should be yellow (like OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana) with their signature scattered holo. It is inspired by good feelings and happiness!

For the manicure I started off with a white base of piCture pOlish Bright White on all my nails. Afterwards I freehanded the little piCture polish bottles with a small nail art brush, black acrylic paint and the following polishes: Forget Me Not (blue), O'hara (red), Enchanting (green), Paris (coral), Hussy (purple), and Chillax (mint). To finish off the skittlette I applied piCture pOlish Holiday to my pinky.

I think these little bottles are so cute!

Dance Legend Sunshine 195

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of the UV changing nail polish Dance Legend Sunshine 195 - a polish that changes color in the sun!
Sunshine 195 is an off-white lilac with gold glitter inside and in the shade and a medium purple with a magenta undertone (still with gold glitter of course) in the sun.

The formula was okay - it was a little gooey and difficult to apply. The opacity was good and it was opaque in two some-what thick coats or three thinner ones.

Inside
Outside

This polish is crazy cool and the change in color is amazing!
What do you guys think about it? Let me know in the comments!

Lead Light

Hello ladies!

Today I made a manicure using the lead light technique with three of the OPI Color Paints inspired by Anna Gorelova.

For the manicure I started off with a white base of piCture pOlish Bright White on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the leaf design with MoYou London Tropical Plate 06 and Mundo de Uñas Black. Then I used a small nail art brush and the following OPI Color Paints to fill in the stamping: Purple Perspective, Pen & Pink, and Chromatic Orange.

Ever since I saw the original manicure by Anna I knew I had to recreate it - and I just love how it turned out!

Fancy Friday: Pond Mani

Hello ladies!

Today it is time for another Fancy Friday challenge!
The theme (which I chose) is pond mani. I remade this manicure no less than four times and I am still not quite happy with the result.

For the manicure I alternated between a layer of the purple sheer tint OPI Don't Violet Me Down and stamping with Mundo de Uñas White and MoYou London Pro Plate 07 to make the pond effect. I ended up with two layers of OPI Don't Violet Me Down and three layers of stamping.

I love the pond mani technique, but it is really hard and time-consuming!

Water Marble

Hey guys!

Somebody give me a crown, because I'm the queen of water marbling!
Today I water marbled on all ten of my nails!

For the manicure I started off with a silver base of Essie No Place Like Chrome on all my nails. Afterwards I water marbled with two of the OPI Color Paints: Turquoise Aesthetic and Pen & Pink.

On my other hand I water marbled with Primarily Yellow and Chromatic Orange and I love how it all turned out!
