piCture pOlish Nail Art Annual 2016

Hey guys!

Yesterday I participated in the piCture pOlish Nail Art Annual 2016 competition.
The theme of the challenge is 'Impressionist' and we were to pick a painting by Claude Monet to be inspired by.

For the manicure I used A LOT of piCture pOlish shades and black and white acrylic paint. I freehanded the entire design with a small nail art brush, except for the gradient in the background on my ring finger and pinky for which I used a make-up sponge.

Here is a list of the piCture pOlish shades used:
Freya's Cats
Glitch
Shy Violet
Cyan
Paris (original)
Sorbet
Enchanting
Hercynia
O'hara
Bardot

And here is the Claude Monet painting I was inspired by - one of his many water lilies paintings.

I am so honored, proud and happy for this opportunity - thank you so much piCture pOlish!

Stamping

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple nail art with my favourite stamp to share with you.

For the manicure I started off with a pink base of HEMA Holographic Pink on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the orchid design with MoYou London Pro Plate 07 and Mundo de Uñas Black stamping polish.

I bought HEMA Holographic Pink in Bruxelles and I am loving it!

Masura Mint and Basil | Мята и Базилик

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of the beautiful polish Masura Mint and Basil.
Mint and Basil is a green magnetic polish.

For the swatches below I used a black base underneath the polish.
The formula is amazing and it is really easy to manage - it is a little on the thick side, but I prefer it that way. I used one thick coat over the black base and the opacity is perfect.

This polish is crazy!

Depend // First Impression

Hey guys!

I recently won a competition on Instagram and the price was a variety of Depend products that I have decided to review today!

First up I tried the Cuticle Peeling from the 3-Step Action nail care kit.

I normally use the Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover to remove my cuticles and compared to this I was happily surprised by the Depend Cuticle Peeling. It does what is promises and it is really easy to use. I especially liked that you use the nail brush from the set to remove the dead skin cells. Definitely not the last time I use this!

Next up I tested the Mud Mask.

Except for the long dry time I like this product as well - I do not think I am going to use it a lot though, but it is nice to have in your collection and it does what it promises.

Then I tested the 7day Starter Kit with the color Lady Bug Love.

I am ecstatic about the quality of this kit! The dry time is amazing, it is easy to use, and the polish applies like butter! The only negative thing I have found (so far) is that the top coat does drag the polish a bit even though it is dry.

All in all, I am so happy with the quality of these products from Depend.

Bruxelles!

Hey guys!

Today I am going to Bruxelles for a study trip - I am going to learn all about the European Parliament! For that purpose I made an EU flag inspired mani.

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of Essie Butler Please on all my nails. Afterwards I made the twelve "stars" (dots) of the flag - three on each nail - using Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow and a big dotting tool.

And here you can see the flag.

I am not sure how I fell about this nail art, but I am really looking forward to going to Bruxelles!
