Essie Lapiz of Luxury vs Essie Lapiz of Luxury

Hey guys!

A while ago I fell in love with this beautiful cornflower blue polish called Lapiz of Luxury by Essie. I ordered it home from eBay (from an American seller) and it looked nothing like the swatches online - instead it was a dusty lavender polish. I then recently found the polish in Denmark with another color, but the same name? There seems to be more than one version of this polish, with different colors and formula, but the same name.

Essie Lapiz of Luxury vs Essie Lapiz of Luxury.

The two polishes look nothing alike (albeit they are both beautiful).

It has been seen before that Essie have reformulated some of their polishes or that there is a difference in the American and European polishes with the same names. In this case I think it is a reformulation, which is a shame.

Nail Vinyls Storage

Hey guys!

Today I want to show you how I store my nail vinyls!

Most of my nail vinyls are from Snail Vinyls and Glam My Mani.

I use this adorable, little photo album intended for polaroid pictures to store my nail vinyls. The album is around 10 cm high and found on eBay (I bought it from this link).

I think this is such a smart and cute way to store nail vinyls and stencils. The only down-side is that you have to cut up the sheets to fit into the album.

What do you guys think about this storage idea?

Easter

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple Easter nail art to share with you inspired by @nailsbyic featuring a cute little bunny behind!

For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of OPI That's Hula-rious on all my nails. Afterwards I freehanded the bunny bottom on my ring finger with a small nail art brush and white nail polish. Lastly I added the cute little tail using the light pink polish OPI Mod About You and a small dotting tool.

I love this cute Easter manicure!

Striping Tape

Hey guys!

Today I have some very simple nail art inspired by @juliajor to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of the stunning Chanel Vibrato on all my nails. Afterwards I made the accent nail with two pieces of silver striping tape in two different sizes.

I love how something so simple can turn out so beautiful!

ILNP Mega (S)

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of the beautiful ILNP Mega (S) to share with you!
Mega (S) is a silver holo (it is a perfect mix of linear and scattered holo).

The formula is perfect - it is not too thick and not too thin, and it glides onto the nail with ease. The opacity is good, but it needs three layers to be completely opaque.
The holographic effect on this one is crazy and I am so in love with the mix between linear and scattered holo.

This polish is stunning on the nails!

Matte

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple, matte negative space nail art to share with you.

For the manicure I started off with a coral base of Essie Tart Deco on all my nails. On my ring finger I only painted Essie Tart Deco on two thirds of the nail. Afterwards I made everything matte with Essie Matte About You. To finish everything off I applied a blue, matte rhinestone to mr ring finger.

Close up!

It has been so long since I made matte nails, but luckily these turned out awesome.

More Waves

Hey guys!

Today I have some more fun, wavy, negative space nail art to share with you inspired by this mani I made a few weeks ago.

For the manicure I used a small nail art brush and Cirque Colors Garnet to create the simple negative space effect by painted the waves directly onto my naked nails.

I love this simple nail art!
