Then and Now

Hey guys!

Today I have some Then and Now manicures to share with you!
I recreated this polka dot manicure from 2014.

For the manicure I started off with a red base of Essie Lollipop on all my nails. Afterwards I used a dotting tool and some watered-down white acrylic paint to create the polka dots.

And here is a comparison of Then and Now.

I am actually more proud of my improvement in photo-editing and hand-posing than my improvement in nail art skills!

For the manicure I started off with a white base of Essence Wild White Ways on all my nails. Afterwards I freehanded the turtle leaves with a small nail art brush and the green polish Essie Going Incognito.

This is definitely not my last freehanded floral manicure this summer!

Negative Space

Hey guys!

Today I made another negative space manicure - I am really loving negative space nail art at the moment and make it all the time!

For the manicure I started off with a blue base of the beautiful Essie Loot the Booty on all my nails. On my ring finger and pinky I only painted part of the nail and cleaned up the edges of the negative space nail art with a clean-up brush dipped in acetone.

I love simple negative space nail art. So easy to do, yet so stunning to look at!

Stamping

Hey guys!

Today I have some simple, chic stamping nail art to share with you!

For the manicure I started off with the sheer, nude holo ILNP Elle on all my nails. Afterwards I stamped the floral design on top of the base with MoYou London Pro 07 stamping plate and the gold polish Essie Good as Gold.

You know you are a little too in love with a stamping design when you can make a collage of all the times you have used it:

Dots

Hey guys!

Today I want to share some simple, geometrical nail art with you! The nail art was inspired by the talented @lackfein.

For the manicure I started off with a mint green base of Essie Mint Candy Apple on all my nails. The dots is made with a dotting tool, the red polish Essie Really Red, and the white polish Essence Wild White Ways, by dotting the polishes onto a nail art mat and letting them dry. I then cut the dots in half and placed them on my middle and ring finger.

I love how these turned out - so simple, yet so chic!

piCture pOlish O'Hara

Hey guys!

Today I have a swatch and review of piCture pOlish O'Hara to share with you!
O'Hara is a red crelly with a scattered holo.

The formula is amazing - it is a little on the thick side, but incredibly easy to control and apply to the nails. The opacity is great as well and it only needs two coats to be completely opaque. And even though this polish is packed with holo, it is as easy to remove as any creme polish is.

This polish is one of my favorites in my entire collection, so it is about damn time that I did a proper review of it! It is so stunning!

Geodes

Hey guys!

Today I tried to make geode nails for the first time! I was inspired by @heblewskasandra.

For the manicure I started off with a black base of Essie Licorice on all my nails, except for my middle and ring finger on which I started off with the blue holo glitter F.U.N Lacquer How Deep I Your Holo?. Afterwards I applied a layer of white polish followed by a layer of fast drying top coat. When that was completely dry I used a cotton swab dipped in acetone to remove some of the white polish to reveal the blue glitter underneath. Lastly I freehanded the details of the geode design with a small nail art brush, the gold holo glitter F.U.N Lacquer Million Dollar Dream and Essie Licorice.

I was so nervous to try this out, but I am loving the result!
